Md. Awal Hossain Khan joins the Armani ECO Resort Board as a Director after 36 years of distinguished service in the Bangladesh Police, most recently as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Traffic, Admin, Planning and Research) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

His career spans criminal investigation, rapid-action operations and industrial policing at home, alongside three United Nations peacekeeping missions in Bosnia, Liberia and Sudan — where he served as team leader, investigation officer and coordinator on some of the world’s most demanding assignments.

Today he brings that same standard of discipline, governance and public trust to Armani Properties Limited — serving as Admin Officer and advising institutions across security, education and enterprise.

Team Leader of the Uniform Advisory Team, Co-locator and Community Policing Advisor. Investigated internal conduct and discipline matters of the Bosnian Police and served as Operation Advisor for the Joint Task Force Patrol.

UNMIL2005 – 2006

Liberia

Investigation Officer and Member of the Headquarters Board of Inquiry. Worked in the Non-Compliance Unit and investigated organized crime and trafficking in persons under the Crime Services Department.

UNMIS2009 – 2010

Sudan

UN Gender-Based Crime Coordinator for the Kadugli Region. Coordinated efforts to combat gender-based violence and served as Investigation Officer for non-compliance issues.
